About me
Jack leads genomics-focused community engagement projects in the Wellcome Connecting Science team. Based in South Cambridgeshire on the Wellcome Genome Campus, Jack has focussed on building relationships with groups in East Anglia with low science engagement opportunity. He is also co-lead on the campus science engagement training programme, and has delivered training sessions both in the UK and internationally. Previous to his current role Jack coordinated a large scale biodiversity engagement project, collaborating with Kew Gardens, Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh, and the Natural History Museum as well as six other science research organisations to deliver DNA-based engagement at sites across England and Scotland. His work is united by a search for wonder, wherever it can be found.
