About me
Laura Thomas is Director of Ondata Research, an evaluation and impact consultancy working across formal and informal education. Laura began her career as a practitioner in physics outreach and public engagement, with a particular interest in university partnerships and involving people in science research. Most recently Laura has moved into the social sciences and following an MRes at the University of Stirling is now completing a part-time PhD in teacher retention and professional learning alongside her work with Ondata.
Laura has worked with ASDC on evaluation-related projects for a number of years, including Destination Space and Operation Earth, amongst others. She is the evaluator for ASDC’s Our World From Space project which works with 25 science centres around the UK. In addition to her work with science centres she also works with universities, education charities and professional bodies on a range of projects.
