About me
Sarah Bearchell is the first person to win both The Joshua Phillips Award for Innovation in Science Engagement (2014) and The Beetlestone Award for Leadership and Legacy in Science Communication (2024). These are for her long term work developing, delivering and promoting Inclusive Science - where activities work for visitors with a range of sensory impairments and learning difficulties.
Sarah writes and presents her own science shows but also creates activities for others to deliver and offers training in Inclusive Science methods. She writes regularly for children's magazines and wrote two activity booklets for the Institute of Physics' #LimitLess campaign.
